A USB flash drive is a small device that can plug directly into the USB port, it will be seen as a removable drive on the PC and can be copied to / from as normal. On W2K/XP machines drivers are not required, Win 98 will require drivers. Sometimes called Pen drives or USB drives but should not be confused with a Memory Stick which is a type of memory card.
